Teenage / Duke of Edinburgh Award

Our twelve week course in Fetcham, Leatherhead, teaches keen teenage cooks and students completing their Bronze or Silver Duke of Edinburgh awards some essential cookery skills. From baking, pastry and cake making, meat and vegetable preparation and puddings the students will cook something different each week to cover a new skill.

This is a completely hands on course and we expect the students to prepare, weigh and cook their dishes as well as wash up! The kitchen is a lively place and it has the team atmosphere of a busy kitchen with students helping each other and asking for ingredients to be passed round. They need to listen to instructions and behave in a sensible manner so that we can all enjoy the session safely. Long hair must be tied back and shoes must be enclosed.  

These courses become booked up months in advance so please book early to avoid disappointment. We run a waiting list once the classes are full so please email us.

Our January 2015 classes are now full and we are now booking our Autumn term starting Monday 7th September 2015.
