Teenage / Duke of Edinburgh Award

Our course in Fetcham, Leatherhead, teaches keen teenage cooks and students completing their Bronze or Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards some essential cookery skills.  This is not a class for just bakers.  From pastry making to lasagne, curries, Tex Mex and tarts to hot and cold desserts, special cakes and icing. Each week the students learn a new skill and bring home their results.

This is a completely hands on course and we expect the students to prepare, weigh and cook their dishes as well as wash up! A kitchen is a lively place and has a busy atmosphere with students helping each other and asking for ingredients to be passed round. They need to listen to instructions and behave in a sensible manner so that we can all enjoy the session safely. Long hair must be tied back and shoes must be enclosed.  

These courses become booked up months in advance so please book early to avoid disappointment. We run a waiting list once the classes are full so please email us.
